Judge Aisha S. Clark is currently a City Court Judge, in the Monroe City Court, Division “C”. She has been an attorney for over a decade and has practiced law locally as well as been an ADA for the Orleans Parish Judicial System, Assistant City Attorney for Monroe as well as the Assistant City Prosecutor. She is the newest and youngest elected Judge for the Monroe City Court, Division “C” where she currently presides.
Judge Clark graduated from Ouachita Parish High School and went on to graduate from Grambling State University earning degrees in Political Science and Mass Communication with a minor in Theatre. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, LA.
Judge Clark is a member of the American Judges Association, Louisiana City Judges Association, Louisiana Judicial Council NBA Association, Louisiana Bar Association, National Association Women Judges, where she was the Chairperson for the State of Louisiana, District 6 and host of others.
Judge Clark received the W.L. “Jack” Howard Public Service Award from the mayor of Monroe in recognition of her Annual Hair-Los(lows) from the Heart Cancer Benefit. Also, she recently was awarded the Top 20 Under 40 Young Professionals Award just to name a few.
